Sixth event in a Force, first time at Gurston, never visited the hill before except as a spectator. A daunting course, particularly through Hollow and at Karousel. First practice, 36.22 seconds. Second practice saw me improve, as I got used to the course, 35.50 recorded. Third practice 35.05 Fourth Practice 37.64, damp. First timed run resulted in a 35.90 second time, 19.71 to Bottom of Karousel, a good run, very pleased with the time. Final run of the day, yielded 35.33, 19.30 to Bottom of Karousel. A great weekend, course dry ,sunny and warm autumnal day on Saturday, wet first practice on Sunday then drying through the day, except for a heavy shower of rain during the Top Twelve run off Fouth in class out of a mixed class of HSA competitors cars ..And 9 points towards Richard Egger Insurance HSA Hillclimb and Sprint Championship.
