2008 season, I moved to single seat car class after buying Tony Shearman's Force DS600 Yamaha R6 engined car.

A very sucessful first year in a single seat car, First in the 600 cc class, Fourth overall in the Hillclimb and Sprint Championship, and HSA " Man of the Year" Trophy. Which I'm very proud to hold for this year. Especially as it has been awarded to many of the top hillclimb and sprint drivers, both past and present.

In 2007 I had another season with the Mazda, not quite as sucessful as 2006, mainly because I attempted to compete in two championships. Which resulted in six scores for one and five for the other championship, rather than the required eight scores resulting in poor placings in both. Lesson learned!

I started my first full season of motorsport 2006, using a 1993 Mazda RX-7 seen below, for hillclimbs and sprints.
